'Sudden Fiction' Filipino and Transgender 'Dominatrix of Designer Wear' Open Coconut Cabaret Fall 2007 Season

Comedian Roy Cruz opens the Coconut Cabaret Fall 2007 season with his witty take on California culture from Filipino stereotypes to online dating. A frequent performer on the Logo Channel and in L.A. comedy clubs, Philippine-born Cruz shares snap shots his culture shocking pursuit of the "American Dream" while jostling his way through L.A.'s stand up comedy circuit. His short film "Keisha vs Geisha" was recently featured at the Slamdance Film Festival in L.A. He is also the creator of a "sudden fiction" online magazine, sinkingvillage.com. Join Cruz for an evening of fierce ethnic commentary...and great hair!

Transgendered comedian, Ariana, is a trained 'PSYCHO' therapist specializing in uproarious observations on sexuality and fashion. A self proclaimed "Dominatrix of Designer Wear," Ariana has appeared in comedy shows "For Your Pleasure" and "Sensuous Woman," both hosted by Margaret Cho.
